Dr. Christine Chambers is a clinical psychologist, Canada Research Chair in Pain and Child Health, and Professor of Pediatrics and Psychology at Dalhousie University. Her research, based in the Centre for Pediatric Pain Research, IWK Health Centre, examines developmental, psychological, and social influences on children's pain, with a focus on family factors in pediatric pain and pain measurement in children. She was identified as one of the Top 11 most productive women clinical psychology professors in Canada and is a recipient of a number of awards, including the International Association for the Study of Pain's Ulf Lindblom Young Investigator Award.
